An AZAC meeting on Tuesday and the school district's observance of the Thanksgiving holiday are among the highlights of "News and Notes" for the week of Nov. 23.

700 MS students expected at weekend conference

Friday November 20, 2009 - General

Centennial High School will host the Middle Level Leadership Conference on Saturday, featuring 44 schools and over 700 middle school students. More than 100 high school students will present workshops and provide training to the attendees.

H1N1 vaccinations to be provided at 3 high schools

Friday November 20, 2009 - General

The Southern Nevada Health District will provide H1N1 vaccine to priority group members at immunization clinics to be held at the following schools on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 9-6:
* Del Sol High School
* Mojave High School
* Sierra Vista High School
